Avaada Group has reached a major milestone in its growth journey by securing a massive ₹12,800 crore long-term loan facility to construct 2.15 GW of renewable energy infrastructure. The financing was spearheaded by a prominent syndicate of financial institutions, including the State Bank of India (SBI), Canara Bank, and Rural Electrification Corporation (REC).
Designed with a patient 21.5-year tenure, the funding will be channeled through four fully owned subsidiaries to construct 1.35 GW of hybrid power generation and 800 MW of utility-scale solar installations across Gujarat and Maharashtra. With long-term Power Purchase Agreements already inked with premier off-takers MSEDCL and GUVNL, the projects offer high revenue visibility. As one of the largest debt packages in India's green sector this year, this deal underlines strong institutional confidence in Avaada's execution capabilities and commitment to a sustainable future.
